Level 2 Award in Principles of Risk Assessment
This accredited 1 day course forms a key part of health and safety training and can be delivered in the workplace or at our training centre. As well as being a theory based, this course does have practical elements that will help learners through the process of risk assessment in their workplaces.
While employees might not undertake risk assessments themselves, they may be asked to contribute to the process and will be expected to behave in a way that protects both the health and safety of themselves and others at all times. This qualification will make them more risk-aware and improve their understanding of risk assessments.
This course will include:
• Introduction to health and safety
• Accidents and reporting
• Risk assessment in theory
• Risk assessment in practice
• Manual handling, fire, COSHH, display screen equipment and working at heights risk assessment’s
Upon successful completion of the multiple choice question paper, learners will gain the accredited certificate.
Learners will receive a full colour manual to accompany the training.
Learners must be at least 14 years old on the first day of the training.
